At home, we had an abundance of mangoes on our tree, and my mother often asked me to pick them. However, I was always hesitant to climb the tree due to fear. I started thinking about how I could harvest the mangoes easily without having to climb the tree, and that's when the idea for a mango picker came to me. I decided to try out this concept, and to my delight, it worked perfectly!

I designed a simple and efficient mango picker that makes it easy to harvest mangoes from trees. This innovative tool is constructed using a simple bottle attached to a pipe, with a string mechanism that opens and closes the bottle's mouth. This allows mangoes to be picked effortlessly and safely, without having to climb the tree.

The mango picker works by attaching a pipe to a bottle, which serves as the picking end of the tool. A string is threaded through the setup, allowing the bottle's mouth to open when the string is pulled. To pick a mango, you simply position the bottle around the fruit, pull the string to open the mouth, place the mango inside, and then release the string to secure the fruit in the bottle. This simple yet effective mechanism allows mangoes to be picked easily and safely from the ground.

Creating this mango picker is straightforward and can be done with materials commonly found at home. The design requires only a pipe, a string, and a bottle, making it a cost-effective and practical solution for anyone who needs to pick fruit from trees. This simple idea can be implemented quickly, providing a convenient tool for harvesting mangoes and potentially other similar-sized fruits as well.
